Designed for medium- to large-size rooms up to 350 square feet, this convenient air conditioner features an 8,000-BTU cooling capacity and an energy-efficiency rating of 9.8. The unit’s variable-speed fan and eight-way air direction, along with electronic controls and full-function remote, make it simple to achieve ideal comfort levels, while its LVC technology (low voltage compensation) ensures proper operation when the voltage fluctuates below normal levels. For those with allergy problems, the air conditioner includes negative ion generators and electrostatic filter elements to provide excellent air-cleaning performance. Frigidare FAA084P7A MS II 8000-BTU Room Air Conditioner
Ease of setup is 5 star. Cooling capacity is better than several 10,000BTU units I have had in the past.

Effective but noisy
I guess I shouldn’t complain. It does a great job of cooling the area I need cooled, but is way too noisy to use in a regular-sized room.
