    The oscillation feature WILL break on you.
    There are a few decent things I like about this heater, and one of them was the oscillation feature (which moves it back and forth).

    Honeywell HZ-341 good for small spaces
    Bought this heater as an alternative to turning on central heating. A big draw was the digital (readout) thermostat, timer, and oscillating functions.

    Heats OK, Oscillates OK, Remote Good, Rest FAIL
    Right out of the box, the heater works. Good strong fan, reliable oscillation, remote works very well, it shuts off immediately with tipping on its side.

    You’re looking at a time bomb.
    I’ve been using this heater for a year and a few days ago I was so surprised to find the power plug is bent.

    Emergency heater during power failures
    These Honeywell heaters are very good for spot warmth but have a caveat: IF there is a power failure the electronic controls will NOT turn the heater on when power is restored…

    Doesn’t work!
    I plug it in. Touch the power button. It works about one time out of 5. I’ve had it too long to send it back.

    Perfect for 3 Years
    I have owned several space heaters, but this HZ-341 has been great for 3 years. Instant heat, doesn’t take up much space, and easy to direct the heat where you need it.

    The Honeywell HZ341BL ceramic space heater with Remote is an excellent product: I would have given this a 5 star rating if it had a start-up setting.

    I had the same issues Mary did. See my response to her for more info, but essentially, I recommend avoiding this heater.
